This weekend the inaugural 1939 Stage Company concluded their One-Act Play season as one of the top 12 in the state. Ten students took a chance on a UIL event that they knew nothing about because Moulton High School hadn't competed in OAP since 1994.

Those ten kids rehearsed eight hours a week on the old gym floor and did something incredible this season, making MHS history along the way: a District championship, a Bi-District Championship, an Area Championship, a trip to Region (a fourth level that MHS had never advanced to previously in OAP), and finally, a third-place finish as the alternate play to the State contest.

Words can't express how thankful we are to the parents, Mrs. Tara Shimek, the Moulton community, the MISD School Board, and to our superintendent, Dr. Fairchild, for being so very supportive of this fledgling program.

I n d i v i d u a l awards received at the Region IV 1A contest are as follows: Honorable Mention AllStar Cast: Rebecca Ulcak All-Star Cast: B. Baker and Zoii Zella Congratulations to all on a successful season!!
