USTIN – The Hallettsville Brahmas stood in seventh place after the first round of the UIL State Golf Tournament Monday at Grey Rock Golf Club.

The Brahmas shot a team total of 354. Liberty led the pack with a 308, Bowie was second (319) and Brock third (320).

Brady Copley led the Brahmas with a 40-40-80. Adam Stock shot a 44-45-89, Eli Ferguson 44-47-91, Tanner Cliffe 46-48-94 and Layne Gerke 47-50-97.
