The St. Paul baseball team fell at Sacred Heart April 10 and lost at Flatonia on Friday.

It was a semi-offensive show for the Cards at Sacred Heart as they battled back late but fell to the Indians, 15-11.The teams combined for 26 runs on 20 hits.
Sacred Heart led 3-2 after one frame and 5-4 after three innings before taking a 9-4 lead after four innings.
St. Paul got within 9-5 after five and closed down to 9-8 in the top of the sixth before the Indians boarded six runs for a 15-8 lead in the bottom of the inning. St. Paul scored a trio of runs in the top of the seventh in a last-ditch effort to rally.
At the plate, Joe Peters was 3-for-4, two runs, double and two RBI while Zeke Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with two runs.
Jack Leonard started at pitcher, going three innings with five runs on three hits, four walks and three strikeouts; Blaime Humes pitched 1/3 innings with two hits, four runs and three walks. Cody Malinovsky closed out the game with 2 2/3 innings, six runs on six hits and one walk.
Nate Boedeker had eight putouts on defense.
