Lockhart defeats 8s in walk-off fashion

YOAKUM –Marcus Hassonn scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fifth and final inning to give Lockhart a 6-5 win over Hallettsville in the 8-year old District 31 East Zone Tournament Tuesday night to eliminate the locals.Hallettsville gave up a one-run lead going into the final inning.

The Shiner Coach Pitch Softball and Baseball teams started their Special Tournaments last week and continuing through this week.Coach Pitch SoftballThe Shiner 8U/Coach Pitch softball team won one and lost two in the Special Tournament June 1-3.
