On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at approximately 0100 hours, an HPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Blk W Fairwinds St for a traffic violation.

James Adam Day, 43, of Vidor was arrested by Hallettsville police when he reportedly pulled what looked like a grenade to threaten the officers he ran from when they arrived at the scene of a reported domestic dispute Wednesday evening.
