Indianettes Cop District Track Title

BRYAN – The Sacred Heart Indianettes won the TAPPS Division IV 5 championship at the meet held at Allen Academy High School Tuesday,April 18.

 

The Indianettes won all three relays and three other first places.

 

The three relays were made up of Katie Kostelnik, Bailey Haas, Aleigh Kraatz and Elena Grahmann.

 

The sprint relay ran a 51.99, the 800-relay was timed in 1:50.61 and the mile relay in 4:15.95

 

Grahmann was the highpoint individual with 22 points and Kraatz scored 20.

 

Grahmann won the long jump with a best of 17 feet 3 inches and the triple jump 34 feet. 9.75 inches.

 

Katherine Pavliska won the discus with a personal record of 118 feet, 6 inches and was second in the shot put with a throw of 35 feet, 2 inches.

 

Second place finishers: Arianna Henke, 300-meter hurdles, 53.18.Third place finishers: Jules Janak, shot put, 31 feet, 5 inches Aleigh Kraatz, long jump, 15-9; Rylan Dworsky, triple jump, 33-7.75.

 

Fourth place; Mallory Mueller, high jump, 4-10; Halle Taylor, 100-meter dash, 14.20 and 200-meter dash, 29.36; Ella Demel, 100-meter hurdles, 18.64; Mary Beth Krischke, 3200-meter run, 14:51.52;

 

Lani Pilat, pole vault, 7-0.

 

The top four finishers advanced to the area meet Thursday, April 27 at Texas State University.
