A mobile home home located on Highway 90-A East was a complete loss due to fire that occurred late Saturday night.
Humans and domestic animals were not the only residents facing danger and displacement as flames roared across the Panhandle.
The house located at 409 N. Rogers St., had heavy fire damage to the back and moderate fire damage to the front.

The Hallettsville Volunteer Fire Department was called to a structure (house) fire last Wednesday, Feb. 28 around 9:28 a.m.
A structural fire occurred on Jan. 8 at Joe’s Auto Upholstery at 706 W. Gonzales in Yoakum. The call came in to the Yoakum Fire Department (YFD) at 6:18 p.m.
Crews from the Moulton Fire Department, Shiner Fire Department, Moulton Police Department, Lavaca County EMS and the Lavaca County Office of the Texas Department of Emergency Management Department spent two hours battling a blaze late Sunday morning. The two story house on Nelson Street was a complete loss, Fire Chief Tim Koncaba said. The house was not insured.
Fire chief Tim Koncaba said he was just about to drive over to Shiner to grab some dinner plates from the church picnic happening there.
